The EDJ series is a professional packaged fire pump set designed as an automatic fire water supply system. It typically consists of a main pump driven by an electrical motor, a standby pump driven by a diesel engine, and a jockey pump to maintain system pressure. This comprehensive model comes equipped with a dedicated controller (separate or skid-attached), discharge valves, a common header, and necessary industrial accessories.
The system maintains pipeline pressure between a set low pressure (P1) and high pressure (P2). When pressure drops below P1 due to leakage, the jockey pump starts automatically until pressure returns to P2. In the event of high water consumption (e.g., during a fire) where pressure drops to P3, the main electric pump activates. If the main power fails or the electric pump malfunctions and pressure drops to P4, the diesel engine pump set will start automatically to ensure an uninterrupted fire water supply.
