The EDJ series is a professionally packaged fire pump set, designed as an automatic fire water supply system. It typically consists of a main pump (electrical motor driven), a standby pump (diesel engine driven), and a jockey pump. This model is equipped with a centralized controller to manage discharge valves, common headers, and essential accessories for fire safety compliance.

The system maintains pipeline pressure between low pressure P1 and high pressure P2. When pressure drops below P1, the jockey pump starts automatically until it reaches P2. In cases of high water demand or significant leakage where pressure drops to P3, the electric main pump activates. Should the power fail or the electric pump malfunction, the pressure continues to drop to P4, triggering the automatic start of the diesel engine pump.

The diesel engine is mounted on a vibration-dampening base with flexible coupling to the pump. Systems can be configured with premium engine brands like Cummins, Deutz, Perkins, or high-quality domestic engines. The package includes an alternator, starter motor, fuel system, and exhaust system.

Manual Control: Using a 3-way switch on the control panel, operators can manually trigger or stop the diesel engine. When set to the "Stop" position, the diesel pump is disabled for maintenance.

Automatic Control: When set to "Auto," the system responds to fire alarm signals or pressure sensors. If the common outlet pipe pressure drops below the set low-voltage threshold, the system triggers the pump to restore pressure automatically.
