Product Description
Packaged Fire Pump System

EDJ Packaged Fire Pump System

The EDJ Packaged Fire Pump System consists of a main electric pump (driven by electric motor), a standby diesel pump (driven by diesel engine), and a multistage jockey pump. Pumps are assembled with both discharge and suction manifolds, wired to the control system and mounted on a common steel base. The product has a compact design and small footprint, saving space in the pump room. After simply connecting the water and power supplies on site, the unit is immediately operational. In addition to the standard design, it can also be adapted according to the on-site requirements of the pump room.

Working Principle
Working Principle Diagram

Step 1: Pressure maintenance (Jockey Pump). When pressure drops to P1, the jockey pump starts until it reaches P2.

Step 2: Main supply (Electric Pump). If pressure continues to drop to P3, the electric pump starts automatically to supply high-volume water.

Step 3: Emergency backup (Diesel Pump). If electricity fails and pressure hits P4, the diesel pump kicks in automatically.

Working Condition

Standard Environment

  • Altitude: ≤1000m
  • Ambient Temperature: +5℃ to +40℃
  • Relative Humidity: ≤90%
  • Inclination: <10° during operation

Notes

If altitude exceeds 1000m or temperatures fall outside the standard range, power output of the diesel engine must be adjusted based on manufacturer correction factors.

Frequently Asked Questions
